Advanced Risk Concepts, LLC
(ARC) was formed in July of 2004 to provide Commercial General
Liability, Employee Benefit Liability, and Commercial Property
Insurance primarily to non-profit HUD and State financed
apartment buildings and management companies that operate the
housing facilities in which many of our nation’s low-income
seniors live and for-profit apartment management companies,
condominiums and co-operatives that house more affluent senior
citizens. These can be in the affordable housing arena or more
upscale properties.
ARC, LLC is unique in that
it’s founders and staff all come from various aspects of senior
housing and insurance. Each has over 30 years of experience in
the arena. ARC staff have been involved in every aspect of
senior housing from securing grants from HUD to build over 40
low-income buildings, construction and management of facilities
and providing services to the residents.
Because ARC knows the
habitational business like no other company we are able to
tailor our programs to routinely provide coverage for pull
cords, service coordinators and volunteers.
The intent of the ARC
insurance program is to provide the required liability insurance
on independent senior living buildings without the constant
worry of the vagaries of the hard market such as lost coverages,
huge price escalations or abandonment by reinsurers. ARC has
been very successful in this regard. Today, in this difficult
market, ARC’s insureds rest easy knowing they will always have
adequate coverage at a fair cost, without the need to look
elsewhere or the worry of cancellation. Since its inception ARC
has been consistently providing these coverages at fair prices,
while at the same time returning better than normal industry
financial results to its member policyholders.
The cornerstones of ARC’s
success are disciplined underwriting, an aggressive claims
handling posture and reasoned pricing methodologies, which will
result in superior results.
Because ARC believes that
safety is the cornerstone to less claims and lower premiums it
has established an aggressive Safety Education and Risk
Management Department to provide educational materials and
presentations, conduct safety inspections and seminars and work
directly with both insureds and management companies. In
addition this department is charged with working closely with
non-profit associations to provide safety, risk management and
loss prevention resources for their members.
In early 2006 ARC introduced
an insurance program to cover Assisted Living Facilities,
Nursing Homes and Continuing Care Retirement Communities and
like communities. This program is available in over 37 states
and provides comprehensive coverage with $250 to $1million
limits.
