ARC’s Safety
Education & Risk Management Department is dedicated to providing
the best resources possible to our insureds and association
partners.
We know how
devastating a loss can be and while our claims department will
be there to take care of the financial impact our risk
management department is there to
keep claims from happening in the first place. ISO inspections
are conducted before any risk is bound. And many insurance
companies would leave it at that and hope for the best. But ARC
believes that the best way to eliminate claims is to eliminate
risks and the best way to do that is to be a partner with our
insureds in the area of safety.
We provide a
wide range of resources to help you keep your building and
residents safe.
Safety
& Risk Management Audits - ARC Staff will walk the
building with you to review the review and produce a written
report with recommendations.
Educating & Training Your Staff -
ARC Staff will conduct seminars at your facility for your staff.
Involving The Residents - ARC has a
portfolio of safety seminars/workshops for residents that can be
presented by your staff or ARC staff.
REAC Preparation - ARC staff will
review your last scores and provide a checklist for getting
ready for your next one.
Claims Analysis - ARC staff will
review your claims, help you see a pattern and take steps to
prevent new ones.
Disaster Preparedness - ARC has
several resources for helping you prepare for natural or
man-made disasters that you have no control over.
Are You Insured For That? - ARC
provides a checklist to be sure that your insurance policy
covers what you think it does.
ARC’s Safety
and Risk Management Audits review your facility from the roof to
the boiler room.
But unlike
other audits ARC also conducts seminars with your residents to
help encourage them to be a part of keeping them safe in both
their units and the common Areas.
